Indonesia's palm oil sustainability certification ensuring responsible management of plantation businesses in economic, social, and environmental terms — pursuant to Permentan No.33/2025.
Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) is a system for Palm Oil Plantation Business, Downstream Palm Oil Industry, and/or Palm Oil Bioenergy Business that is socially, economically, and environmentally viable in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
ISPO Certification is a series of conformity assessment activities that provides written assurance that products and/or the governance of Palm Oil Plantations have met the principles and criteria of ISPO.
The scope of ISPO certification covers three categories of palm oil business.
Palm oil cultivation businesses and/or palm oil processing businesses (Palm Oil Mills), including integrated operations of both.
Industry producing palm oil derivative products from CPO and other processed materials.
Businesses producing biofuels, biomass, and/or biogas derived from palm oil.

The ISPO certification process consists of two audit stages — from application submission to certificate issuance.
Conducted within a maximum of 3 months from signing the certification agreement.
Conducted at the Auditee's site after all Stage I documents are declared complete.
